Customer Responsibility for Costs

When purchasing from us internationally, the customer is solely responsible for all costs associated with the delivery. This includes:

  • Shipping Costs: The fee paid at checkout to cover the transport of the goods.
  • Import Duties & Taxes: Any local VAT, customs duties, or processing fees levied by your country’s customs authorities.
  • Clearance Fees: Any additional administrative fees charged by the local courier for customs handling.

Please be aware that these charges are not collected by us and must be paid by the recipient upon arrival in the destination country.

Shipping Service & Adjustments

We utilize Evri as our primary forwarding carrier from the UK. Once the parcel reaches your country, it is handed over to a local postal or courier service for final delivery.

  • Rate Accuracy: While we aim to provide accurate shipping quotes at checkout, international logistics costs can fluctuate. We reserve the right to contact you regarding your order if additional funds are required to cover the actual shipping service cost to your specific country.
  • Address Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly. Once dispatched, we cannot re-route deliveries.

EU Policies & Regulations

For customers within the European Union, we strictly follow current import regulations. All shipments are sent on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis unless otherwise arranged. This means you will be required to pay your local country's VAT and any applicable duties before the parcel is delivered.

  • Business Orders: If you are a registered business and wish to purchase without UK VAT to utilize a DDU service, please contact us prior to placing your order at: web@autosiliconehoses.com.

Delivery Attempts & Refusals

  • Unpaid Charges: If a parcel is returned to us because the recipient refused to pay the required import duties or taxes, the original shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Failed Delivery: If the courier attempts delivery three times without success, the parcel will be returned to the UK. Reshipping the item will incur a new shipping charge to be covered by the customer.

Do you offer a weekend delivery?

Unfortunately not, however we are open Saturday for collection, for more information please see our Click & Collect service.

I have entered the incorrect shipping address?

If for whatever reason you have accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, please contact us immediately to change your details. If your item has already been shipped we can't change or re-route your shipment.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all details are correct before purchase. We take no responsibility for orders placed to the wrong address.

My item hasn't arrived and it's passed the delivery date?

The courier attempted a delivery and I wasn't in?

The courier will attempt delivery 3 times, after this the parcel is then returned to us. If you then require this to be resent we will charge you additional shipping.

If the parcel hasn't reached the final delivery attempt you are able to request a change to delivery via the couriers site, this can be left in a safe place, with a neighbour and diverted to a different address.

Will I be charged import duties?

Unless otherwise stated, all items are shipped from the United Kingdom and may incur duty & other charges upon entering other countries. Any duty, clearance, tax or carrier charges must be borne by the recipient and we will not accept liability for any such costs.

If you fail to pay these costs a refund for the goods may be applied, however the shipping shall not be refunded to recuperate the cost of the return.
